Following the success of the first Your Neighbourhood Talks we will be holding the second event at Loughborough in London on 19th September from 6pm. Your Neighbourhood Talks is a great opportunity to find out about the latest events, opportunities, projects and construction activities happening in 2017 on the Park and in the surrounding area.

You will also be able to meet senior members of staff from LLDC and its partners.

Drop in anytime between 6 and 8:30pm to visit one of the market place stalls including East Wick and Sweetwater, Hub67, Hackney Wick Station, Bobby Moore Academy, Fish Island Village and many more.

Studio Wayne McGregor Tour

At 6:15pm and 8pm join us for a tour of the new world class arts space Studio Wayne McGregor, the creative engine for choreographer and director Wayne McGregor CBE. It is an innovative and inspiring place for making, developing creative practice, and collaboration across arts, science, technology and research.

The tour will also be an opportunity to find out more how the community can use the studios and the different meeting spaces.

Talk and panel discussion

At 7pm there will be a talk by Dr Paul Brickell Executive Director Regeneration and Community Partnerships followed by a panel discussion with:

  • Peter Tudor, Director Visitor Services, LLDC
  • Ben Cole, Stakeholder Development Manager, Loughborough University London
  • Vanessa Coetzee, Development Manager, Fish Island Village
  • Gavin Poole, CEO, Here East
  • Legacy Youth Voice representative

Chaired by Katherine Igoe-Ewer Local Programmer, Hub7 and the Yard Theatre.

Refreshments will be provided.

All are welcome- staff from LLDC and partner organisations will be on hand to answer questions.
